Seoul Gangseo-gu, Training Video Broadcast Using Naver Band

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Noh Hyun-song) is operating a mobile live program called 'Bangguseok Training' to help residents regain vitality and quickly return to a healthy daily life after being exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

The mobile live 'Bangguseok Training' is a program where professional instructors guide exercise methods and postures in real-time via mobile to improve the health of residents whose outdoor activities have decreased due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation.

Bangguseok Training is broadcast live every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. through the mobile app 'Naver Band' from August 6 to October 29.

The program consists of physical activity sessions that are easy for anyone, regardless of age or gender, to follow by watching videos, including the necessity and understanding of proper walking (posture correction), conditioning and flexibility enhancement to improve walking speed, strength training, and balance core exercises.

Participants can also communicate in real-time through chat while exercising together.

The Bangguseok Training program is open to all Gangseo-gu residents. To participate, install the mobile app 'Naver Band' on your smartphone, sign up, search for 'Gangseo-gu Health Center,' and join the 'Bangguseok Training Band.'

After joining, access the Naver Bangguseok Training Band every Thursday at 9 a.m. to watch the live video and exercise together.

District Mayor Noh Hyun-song said, "We have prepared a mobile exercise program that anyone can follow at home for residents who may be physically and mentally exhausted due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation. We hope many residents participate to relieve COVID stress and find new daily enjoyment."
