KIC Donates 20 Million KRW for Emergency Flood Relief Fundraising
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) announced on the 20th that it donated 20 million KRW in sponsorship funds for emergency flood relief through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. The donation will be used to deliver relief supplies to residents affected by the heavy rains this summer, support damage recovery, and raise funds for disaster victims.
President Heenam Choi said, "We hope that our small contributions will help the communities affected by the floods," adding, "KIC will continue to fulfill its responsibilities and duties as a sovereign wealth fund and actively support neighbors in need."

Meanwhile, KIC has continuously provided relief donations to communities suffering from various disasters, including the 2018 Yeongdeok typhoon damage, the 2019 Gangwon Province wildfires and typhoon damage, and emergency relief for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
