[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] The KOSPI fell below the 2300 level as selling pressure from institutions and foreigners increased.
As of 10:53 AM on the 20th, the KOSPI stood at 2296.44, down 2.72% (64.10 points) from the previous session. The KOSPI opened at 2339.91 this morning but dropped below the 2300 level due to increased selling by institutions and foreigners. Currently, foreigners and institutions have sold stocks worth 129.1 billion KRW and 265.5 billion KRW, respectively. Individual investors alone purchased stocks worth 396.5 billion KRW.
