According to Gwangju City, a man in his 20s residing in Naebang-dong, Seo-gu, tested positive for COVID-19 that afternoon.
Classified as the 246th confirmed case, he had contact with the 233rd confirmed case and is reported to be asymptomatic.
Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Gwangju area currently stands at 246.
By age group, there are 5 cases under 10 years old, 11 in their teens, 30 in their 20s, 29 in their 30s, 37 in their 40s, 47 in their 50s, 52 in their 60s, 22 in their 70s, 9 in their 80s, and 5 in their 90s.
