17 Close Contacts from Traffic Safety and Security Divisions to Self-Quarantine for 2 Weeks
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] On the 19th, the Seoul Gwanak Police Station announced that all 79 employees who were classified as contacts of police officer A, who tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), tested negative for COVID-19.
A police official stated, "Although all tested individuals received negative results, 17 employees from the Traffic Safety Division and Security Division, classified as close contacts, will enter a two-week self-quarantine."
Employees who were not classified as close contacts among them have returned to work.
Officer A, who tested positive on the 17th of this month, reportedly stated during the epidemiological investigation that he is a member of Sarang Jeil Church in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, and met a church acquaintance after work on the 14th.
