View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) cluster originating from Sarang Jeil Church in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul is intensifying.
Seoul city announced on the 19th that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases related to Sarang Jeil Church increased by 84 in one day on the 18th, bringing the cumulative total in Seoul to 375.
There were increases of 3 cases each related to Woori Jeil Church in Yongin city and Antioch Church in Gongneung-dong, Nowon-gu, and 1 case related to Doesaegim Church in Yangcheon-gu. One imported case from overseas and one contact case from other cities/provinces were also reported.
Seventeen patients were classified as 'others' because their infection routes were not clearly identified, and 41 patients are currently under investigation for their infection routes.

The number of new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul on the 18th reached a record high of 151. Accordingly, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul reached 2,360. Among them, 1,588 patients have been declared recovered and discharged, while 758 are undergoing isolation treatment.
