This is what Rep. Lee Won-wook, who is running for the Democratic Party of Korea’s Supreme Council member election, said in an interview with Asia Economy on the 18th. He sparked controversy by describing Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol as "a dog biting its owner" during an online joint speech on the 16th.
He believes that Prosecutor General Yoon has already made his "political moves" explicit and argues that "he must be removed." Rep. Lee said, "Since a dismissal recommendation could be a burden to the president, impeachment procedures should be pursued," adding, "I also think Yoon is enduring and politically enjoying this situation." Prosecutor General Yoon is holding his position while confronting the administration, and his value as a leading opposition presidential candidate continues to rise.
However, he added, "(The push for Yoon’s impeachment) should be carefully judged by the party leadership while considering public sentiment rather than by individual judgment."
He viewed Prosecutor General Yoon’s mention of "dictatorship and totalitarianism disguised as democracy" at the new prosecutors’ induction ceremony on the 3rd as a decisive moment. Rep. Lee said, "Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae used 'flashy' language and pointed out attitude issues, but Yoon’s talk of dictatorship could only be seen as a complete political act, which angered me," emphasizing, "I felt it was a declaration of presidential candidacy. Appointed power must obey elected power, and if you want to engage in politics, you should step down and go out."
As a solution to the real estate problem, he proposed utilizing urban parks subject to the sunset clause in the supply sector. Rep. Lee said, "In Seoul, the area of urban parks at risk of disappearing due to the sunset clause accounts for nearly 20% of the total," adding, "I suggested including this in the supply measures, but it was not reflected. If the public sector undertakes development, a proper park and a significant amount of housing supply can be secured."

He has also voiced criticism regarding issues such as irregular workers at Incheon International Airport. Rep.
