11st Partners with Tvenjers to Launch 'Ppongjeolmi'
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] Commerce portal 11st announced on the 19th that it will launch an exclusive injeolmi set called ‘Ppongjeolmi,’ planned in collaboration with the trending ‘T벤져스’ trio.
This product is a collaboration between trot singer ‘Yoo Sanseul,’ the lyricist and composer trio ‘T벤져스’?ParkToben, Jaksin, and JungChart?who created popular trot songs like ‘Durijuwa,’ the SNS-famous injeolmi specialty store ‘NyamNyam Tteokjip,’ and 11st.
Kim Sanggu, MD of the New Product Planning Team who planned this product, said, “As trot has rapidly emerged as a popular genre that resonates even with the millennial generation, we wondered what it would be like to incorporate the quirky yet addictive personality of trot into a product, which led to this unique item. We hope it will communicate with all age groups as ‘content’ that captures trends, beyond just being a simple ‘tteok’ product.”
The ‘Ppongjeolmi’ box, made by adding mulberry leaf powder to brown rice injeolmi, consists of three packs of 200g (8 pieces) each and a T벤져스 autographed sticker. Sales start on the 19th, with a limited quantity of 4,000 units priced at 11,000 KRW for the first batch. It will be safely delivered with an ice pack included in an icebox.
