Electric Safety Corporation Partners with Korea Offshore Wind Power for Korean-style Green New Deal

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] On the 18th, the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on offshore wind power technology cooperation with Korea Offshore Wind Power at the Korea Offshore Wind Power Demonstration Center in Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk.
The corporation explained that it signed the MOU with Hanhaepung, a specialized offshore wind power company, to support the Korean-style Green New Deal offshore wind power promotion policy and to strengthen the offshore wind power safety management system.
The signing ceremony was attended by Cho Seongwan, president of the corporation, and Yeo Youngseop, CEO of Hanhaepung, along with other officials from both organizations.
Through the agreement, the two organizations will promote ▲technical cooperation for standardizing pre-use inspections of offshore wind power ▲collaborative operation of the offshore wind power technology support center ▲technical exchange meetings in fields such as welding, machinery, electricity, and civil engineering.

President Cho said, "Both organizations are interested in creating an innovative growth ecosystem for offshore wind power, which led to this agreement," adding, "We will cooperate to ensure that the offshore wind power industry can lead the growth of the Korean-style Green New Deal through support for the operation of the offshore wind power technology support center."
