View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Changwon City, Gyeongnam announced on the 18th that it signed an investment attraction business agreement with KM Dodam Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of health and medical masks, to provide jobs for about 500 people with a total investment of 21 billion KRW.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mayor Heo Seong-mu, KM Dodam CEO Kim Kyung-ryeong, Vice Presidents Kim Seung-hyun and Kang Sang-min, among others.
KM Dodam is located in Goseong-eup, Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, and plans to operate a total of 100 mask production lines by investing 21 billion KRW in the Masan Free Trade Zone to expand manufacturing facilities for health masks KF-94 and medical dental masks. Through this, it is expected to create about 500 new jobs.
Additionally, the company plans to complete the manufacturing facilities at the business site by the end of this year and, together with Plant 1 (10 production lines), produce a total of 720 million masks annually, including 500 million KF-94 health masks and 220 million medical dental masks, for export overseas and supply domestically.
