6 Confirmed Cases in Cheonan... Outbreak Originating from Seoul Sarang Jeil Church
[Asia Economy (Cheonan) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Six additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been reported in Cheonan, Chungnam.
According to Chungnam Province and Cheonan City on the 18th, these individuals were tested at the Cheonan Chungmu Hospital screening clinic and other locations the previous day and were confirmed positive for COVID-19.
Notably, most of these confirmed cases are reported to be related to the Seoul Sarang Jeil Church. Previously, in Cheonan, a total of four confirmed cases (two per day) related to Sarang Jeil Church were reported from the 15th to the 16th.

The city and quarantine authorities are conducting epidemiological investigations into the movement paths of the six confirmed cases while carrying out quarantine activities. They also held an emergency countermeasure meeting to devise prevention measures to stop further spread related to Sarang Jeil Church.
