Jeju Air's 'Namdo Eco-Friendly Travel Experience Contest'... 1 Million Won Prize for Grand Prize Winner
For the Promotion of Tourism in Jeonnam
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Jeju Air announced on the 18th that it will hold the 'Namdo Eco-friendly Travel Experience Contest' in collaboration with the Jeollanam-do Provincial Government to promote tourism in Jeonnam.
This contest challenges participants to introduce their own eco-friendly travel methods that preserve the natural environment while enjoying the southwestern coastal seas and islands firsthand. There are no eligibility restrictions, and anyone nationwide can participate, either individually or in teams of 2 to 4 people.
Those who wish to participate must upload an entry video (1 submission) or photos (up to 2 submissions) on their social network service (SNS) accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) with the required hashtags (#JejuAir, #Jeollanamdo, #EcoFriendlyTravelContest), then complete the attached application form and send it via email to branding@jejuair.net.
Applications are accepted until September 7, with the first round of judging by September 10. After an online vote from September 14 to 18, the final winners will be announced on the 23rd. The grand prize (1 video team) includes a cash prize of 1,000,000 KRW and round-trip airfare between Muan and Jeju. The excellence awards (1 video team and 1 photo team) each receive 800,000 KRW and round-trip airfare between Muan and Jeju. The merit and encouragement awards (2 video teams and 2 photo teams each) receive cash prizes ranging from 500,000 to 600,000 KRW and round-trip airfare between Muan and Jeju. All 22 winning entries will also be awarded round-trip airfare between Muan and Jeju.
