[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] On the 16th, due to the escalation to social distancing level 2 amid the spread of COVID-19, professional sports events in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas will be held without spectators.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, from this day forward, professional sports events held at a total of 11 baseball (Jamsil, Suwon, Gocheok) and soccer (Seoul Jamsil, Sangam, Suwon General, World Cup, Ansan, Anyang, Seongnam, Bucheon) stadiums in Seoul and Gyeonggi will be conducted without spectators.
