Taeyoung Group Donates 500 Million Won to Flood Victims
[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] Taeyoung Group announced on the 14th that it has donated 500 million won to support flood victims affected by the heavy rains.
The donation was delivered the day before through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. This donation will be used for the restoration of communities damaged by the longest period of heavy rains in history and for providing disaster relief supplies.
A Taeyoung Construction official stated, “We donated funds to help those struggling during the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic compounded by the monsoon floods,” and added, “We hope that the swift recovery efforts will assist residents affected by the heavy rains in returning to their daily lives.”

Taeyoung Group has consistently donated disaster relief funds during previous crises, including the wildfires in Gangwon Province and the earthquakes in Pohang and Gyeongju last April. In February of this year, they also donated 500 million won to overcome the crisis caused by the spread of COVID-19.
