The county deployed an emergency civil support team of about 200 people, including 100 county office employees, 60 soldiers, and members of social service organizations such as the Women's Association Council, Housewives Civil Defense, Red Cross, Barugesalgi, Saemaul, and Volunteer Council, as road washouts and slope collapses around houses caused inconvenience and raised concerns about secondary damage.
The civil support team assisted in flood recovery by removing soil and debris, stacking sandbags, cleaning with water, and collecting trash in 17 locations including Hamyang-eup and other areas.
County Governor Seo Chun-soo also visited the recovery sites to inspect the situation, comfort residents, and worked alongside employees on flood recovery efforts.
