Gwangju Buk-gu Expands 'Second Half Smart Civil Defense Training' to All Members
Available 24 Hours for PC and Mobile Access
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 13th that it will conduct 'Smart Civil Defense Education (non-face-to-face online education)' for all civil defense personnel from next month 1st to November 30th.
Buk-gu has so far conducted 4 hours of group training annually for personnel with less than 4 years of service, and 1 hour of online education or emergency assembly training for those with 5 or more years of service.
This smart civil defense education is conducted online, unlike the existing group training, so it can be taken anytime 24 hours a day using a smartphone or PC.
After accessing the smart civil defense education through the Buk-gu Office website or internet portal and completing identity verification, participants can join the education.
The education content consists of the duties and roles of civil defense personnel, chemical, biological, radiological defense, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and national action guidelines for daily safety. After watching a 1-hour video, the education is completed by scoring 70 points or higher on the multiple-choice evaluation.
