On the 13th, the city announced that it had completed repairs on a total of 198 cases of damage to roads and sidewalks reported due to the heavy rain that fell over five days starting from the 7th.
The damage caused by this heavy rain in the Iksan area included 186 cases of road potholes and sidewalk damage. The city deployed about 10 road repair workers to fix 180 road potholes at 16 locations including Muwang-ro and completed repairs on six damaged sidewalks.
Additionally, in four locations such as Chilmokjae-ro in Ungpo-myeon and Yeogang-ro in Yeosan-myeon, damage was reported where roadside street trees were uprooted by strong rain and wind.
The city quickly completed repairs by deploying two excavators and eight road repair workers, and promptly addressed four cases of sandbag support for roadside flooding and four cases of road water pooling and flooding, minimizing citizen inconvenience.
Along with this, to ensure rapid recovery of the areas affected by the heavy rain, since the end of the heavy rain on the 11th, a special waste collection team consisting of six members in two groups has been operating, using three 5-ton vehicles to handle the collection, transport, and disposal of household waste generated by the heavy rain.

So far, including 2 tons of waste from Namyang Industrial Company in Pyeonghwa-dong, which suffered flood damage, the team has processed about 150 cases and approximately 80 tons of waste over two days.
