LS Group Donates 500 Million KRW for Flood Recovery Aid
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] LS Group announced on the 12th that it donated 500 million won to the Community Chest of Korea to support recovery efforts from the heavy rain damage.
LS's donation will mainly be used for the rapid recovery of communities severely affected by the heavy rains, such as Anseong City, and for supporting disaster victims.
A group official said, "As a corporate citizen, it is time to join forces to overcome the difficulties faced by local communities," adding, "We hope that the disaster victims affected by the unprecedented heavy rain will overcome the crisis and return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, in addition to the donation, LS Cable & System has been conducting electrical safety inspections for four years since 2017 at more than 20 traditional markets nationwide, including Anyang, Donghae, and Gumi.
