Director Lee Hyeong-cheol and Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters Staff Sweat It Out at Flood Recovery Site
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters will carry out recovery support volunteer activities in flood-affected areas within the province over two days, from the 12th to the 13th.
The Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters announced that it will visit a blueberry farm located in Juksan-ri, Juksan-myeon, Anseong-si, which suffered significant damage due to flooding in 19 out of 70 households caused by recent heavy rains and landslides that brought down soil, to conduct flood recovery support activities.
Previously, the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters formed a volunteer group of 60 willing pure administrative support personnel, excluding on-site responders for flood, fire, rescue, and emergency dispatches.
They will engage in flood recovery activities on-site, such as removing soil from the farm and organizing the vinyl greenhouses.

A representative of the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters stated, "The unprecedented monsoon has caused severe flood damage in the central region," adding, "To support the prompt return to daily life for the affected residents, we have organized this volunteer group to carry out on-site activities."
