[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan Port Authority (BPA) is holding the "1st Win-Win Collaboration Idea Contest" to support the port-related industries of Busan Port that are struggling due to COVID-19.
This contest is promoted by BPA to discover win-win tasks that Busan Port-related small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can feel in the industry, commercialize them, and help revitalize the local economy and create jobs.
The contest fields include △ Strengthening safety inspection and management, △ Increasing productivity, △ Developing and introducing innovative technologies, △ Improving office space and working environment, and △ Various other win-win collaboration ideas. Busan Port Authority plans to select and reward five ideas among the proposals.
The idea selected as the grand prize will be commercialized. Benefits will also be returned to the industry, and companies to carry out the ideas will be selected through a contest in the future.
SMEs in the Busan Port-related industry sector can participate in the contest. The application period is from the 12th to August 28th. The award range is one grand prize (1,000,000 KRW), two excellence awards (700,000 KRW each), and two merit awards (500,000 KRW each).
Companies wishing to participate can download the application form from the BPA website and submit it online through Sangsaengnuri. For more details, contact the Shared Growth Department of the Social Value Office at Busan Port Authority.
