60s Man Arrested After Killing Cohabitant Woman with Bladed Weapon and Fleeing
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] On the 12th, the Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul announced that they have arrested and are investigating Kim Mo (62) on suspicion of murder for killing a woman he was cohabiting with and fleeing the scene.
Kim is accused of stabbing Shin Mo (61), who was living with him, multiple times with a weapon at his home in Mia-dong, Gangbuk-gu, around 11:30 PM the previous day, causing her death, and then running away.
Police, responding to a neighbor's report, tracked Kim using nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and apprehended him intoxicated in a nearby park around 2 AM. It was reported that the victim was already deceased when the police arrived.

The police plan to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to confirm the cause of death. Additionally, they will investigate Kim for specific motives behind the crime and intend to apply for an arrest warrant.
