On the 11th, the MBC Every1 variety show 'Video Star' featured guests Paeng Hyun-sook, Choi Song-hyun, Park Eun-young, Lee Se-young, and Hyerim.
During the broadcast, Lee Se-young said, "My boyfriend is a Zainichi Korean. During my break, the only thing I could do was read Japanese, so I went to a nearby academy to properly learn it, and the moment I opened the door, I met him."
Lee Se-young continued, "We had a six-month flirtation period. I was the only one interested, cheering myself on alone," adding, "It took him six months to think I was a good person. While walking, he lightly tapped my hand and then held it."
She went on, "In the early days of our relationship, we communicated using a translator and even had a big fight," saying, "In Japan, men think it's not cool to use emoticons or contact frequently. So I asked, 'Please sit down for a moment. Why on earth don’t you send me emoticons?'"
She then revealed her marriage plans, saying, "We will get married next year," and added, "My boyfriend’s parents and my parents have already met and know each other. We are discussing wanting to get married around the end of next year."
Regarding the income from the YouTube channel she runs with her boyfriend, Lee Se-young said, "Our income has tripled compared to when I was on broadcast," adding, "We also get advertisements, and thanks to the channel, we even filmed commercials. Whatever money we make from the same channel, we always split it in half."
She also explained about her popular YouTube content 'Surprise Camera,' saying, "At first, we said, 'Let’s not do this again,' but the views exploded," and added, "Surprise Camera became our signature content."
