The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on the 10th that Mr. A has been booked without detention on charges of assault.
Mr. A is accused of punching the face of a woman trying to catch a taxi near Nonhyeon Station on Subway Line 7 at around 12:40 a.m. on the 8th and fleeing the scene. Mr. A did not know the victim, and it is reported that he was intoxicated at the time of the crime.
