Over 1,000 Elementary and Secondary Teachers Participate in Online Training for Remote Teaching Methods
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and ICT announced that from the 10th to the 23rd, they will conduct core software education training for over 1,000 elementary and secondary school teachers.
This training has been changed to an experiential remote format instead of in-person sessions due to the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Participating teachers will directly experience various methods for remote classes, such as real-time interactive lessons, content-centered lessons, and assignment-based lessons. The training will be conducted using 'Edwith,' a free education platform operated by the Naver Connect Foundation, along with remote conferencing programs for real-time classes and small group activities.
