‘Wise COVID-19 Life’ UCC Ulsan Contest
Ulsan Office of Education Accepts Video Submissions on Home and Online Learning Distancing
Divided into Student and General Categories, Held from August 24 to September 11
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A UCC contest capturing everyday life overcoming COVID-19 will be held in Ulsan.
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 9th that it will hold the "2020 Ulsan Education UCC (User Created Content) Contest" for Ulsan citizens and elementary, middle, and high school students.
The theme of the contest is "Wise Life with COVID-19." Participants can create video works depicting various aspects of overcoming COVID-19, such as school and home life, online home learning, and social distancing. The video length should be between 30 seconds and 3 minutes.
The contest is divided into a student division for elementary, middle, and high school students in the Ulsan area and youth under 18, and a general division. The total prize money is 6 million KRW, with 1 grand prize of 1.5 million KRW, 2 excellence awards of 500,000 KRW each, and 2 encouragement awards of 250,000 KRW each.
Participants can download the application form from the announcements section on the Office of Education website, fill it out, and submit it via email. Selected works will be used as promotional content for Ulsan education.
The submission period is from the 24th of this month to September 11th. The contest results will be individually notified on September 25th.

An official from the Ulsan Office of Education said, "In a situation where activities of students and citizens are limited due to COVID-19, we hope to find some fun and share experiences of wisely overcoming the uncertain infectious disease period."
