Prior to working at VISA, she spent over 20 years in engineering and product strategy at automakers including Fiat Chrysler and Ford. At Chrysler, she worked in engineering design and technical cost reduction departments, and at Dodge, she was the lead engineer for the Grand Caravan. Hyundai Motor Group is known to have pursued her recruitment aggressively, recognizing her expertise not only in connected payment fields but also in automotive engineering.
Earlier this year, Hyundai Motor Group introduced the first in-vehicle simple payment system among domestic automakers with the Genesis GV80. This system allows payments to be made simply by touching the vehicle’s display when paying fees at places such as gas stations or parking lots. To this end, Hyundai Motor has partnered with domestic card companies and plans to expand the service to fast food, coffee chains, electric vehicle charging providers, and more. Hyundai Motor Group expects that the hiring of Vice President Boyle will serve as a catalyst to elevate the group’s in-vehicle payment technology to the next level.
