This is the total number of wins by players participating in the Orange Life Champions Trophy across Korea, the United States, and Japan. The event takes place over three days starting from the 7th at the Blue One Dioneurs Golf Course in Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk (par 72, 6,518 yards). It is the only domestic team match play featuring Korea's top female golfers and is now in its 6th edition. The 'Overseas Alliance,' consisting of players active on the U.S. LPGA Tour and the Japan LPGA (JLPGA) Tour, faces off against 'Team KLPGA,' made up of members from the Korean LPGA (KLPGA) Tour.
Each team fields 13 players, totaling 26 participants. The first day features four-ball matches (two players each play their own ball and the better score counts), the second day is foursomes (two players alternate shots with one ball), and the final day is singles match play to determine the champion. The total prize money is 1.2 billion KRW, with the winning team receiving 700 million KRW and the runner-up 500 million KRW. Last year, 'Team KLPGA' won decisively with a 15-9 score. Historically, the 'Overseas Alliance' holds a slight edge with 3 wins to 2 losses.
The 'Overseas Alliance' boasts experience as its strength. Yoo So-yeon (30, Mediheal) and Lee Mi-hyang (27, Volvik) are making their 6th consecutive appearances. This year, the addition of JLPGA Tour members adds more excitement. Following them are Lee Bo-mi (32), Kim Ha-neul (32, Hite Jinro), Bae Seon-woo (26), and Lee Min-young (28, Hanwha Q CELLS). 'Team KLPGA' counters with determination. Two-time champion Park Hyun-kyung (20, Korea Land & Housing Corporation) and 'super rookie' Yoo Hae-ran (19, SK Networks) are making their debut.
