Haman-gun Selected as Finalist for Next Year's 'Specialty Resource Convergence Technology Support Public Project'

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Haman-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 5th that the ‘Win-Win Project between Young Farmers and Rural Elders’ has been finally selected for the ‘2021 Specialty Resources Convergence Technology Support Contest’ hosted by the Rural Development Administration.
The submitted ‘Win-Win Project’ diversifies the production period through open-field and greenhouse cultivation of traditional food ingredient raw materials such as perilla seeds, sesame seeds, and soybeans.
This project aims to foster differentiated specialty products suited to regional characteristics and enhance added value through convergence technology support linking the Rural Development Administration’s R&D technology using brown rice with agricultural and rural resources.
According to the county, the project was finally selected through the first written evaluation and the second presentation evaluation last month. The project period is from next year to 2022, with a total budget of 1 billion KRW planned.
