On the 3rd, the SBS variety show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny' featured Kim Jae-woo and Jo Yu-ri as they went on a camping trip.
During the broadcast, Jo Yu-ri began by saying, "It's so nice to be here."
Kim Jae-woo responded, "I know what you're thinking. You miss him, right? I do too," adding, "I think about how wonderful it would have been if we had come together, seeing beautiful things and eating delicious food."
He continued, "We had struggled to have a child for a long time, but after five years of marriage, we were blessed with an angel-like son," revealing, "We named him Kim Yul, hoping he would resemble my wife."
He added, "When our son was seven months in my wife's womb, we found out his health was not good. But we decided to stay strong," recalling, "Our son, who looked just like my wife’s face and resembled my body, was born. Those two weeks were the happiest in my life."
However, he said, "He was too weak to endure and went to heaven. While others have cesarean sections and postpartum care, my wife did not have that process. She immediately started nursing our child," sharing, "My wife was very healthy, but her health collapsed in an instant."
In response, Jo Yu-ri said, "My husband wanted to share this news only with those who supported us on SNS, but I felt that would be like admitting we had no child, so I couldn’t do that," adding, "My husband quit all his work and stayed by my side to protect me. Although it affected his work, he stayed with me because I asked him to."
Then Kim Jae-woo said, "I will try not to cry again," explaining, "My wife had to carry the small coffin, but in the car, she held our son and smiled at me. I will work hard for my wife who comforted me in the hardest moment."
