KCCI Announces Candidates for the 3rd 'Best Small and Medium Enterprises to Work For'
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) announced on the 4th that it is recruiting candidate companies for the 3rd "Best Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to Work For."
Since 2018, KCCI has been selecting and introducing SMEs with excellent working environments to resolve the manpower mismatch between young job seekers and SMEs.
To ensure objectivity and effectiveness in company selection, four organizations related to corporate evaluation and manpower?Korea Employment Information Service, Korea Enterprise Data, Saramin, and Job Planet?jointly participate in the screening process.
In particular, moving away from the previous simple quantitative evaluation focused on financial performance, the selection is conducted through qualitative evaluations across eight themes: the CEO's vision and philosophy, growth potential, employee recommendation rate, work-life balance (WLB), promotion opportunities, welfare, and more.
In 2018, KCCI selected and announced 565 companies, and in 2019, 639 companies as the best SMEs to work for, attracting great interest from both job seekers seeking valuable SME information and SMEs hoping to attract talented personnel.
Companies wishing to participate in this year's selection of the best SMEs to work for can apply online through the KCCI website. The application period is one month, from the 1st to the 31st of this month. The results will be announced in November.
