Haenam-gun Calls for Ideas to Lead the 'Post-Corona Era'
Haenam-type New Deal, Ttangkkeut Hope Slogan, and Comprehensive Development Plan Public Opinion Proposal
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Haenam County, Jeonnam (Governor Myeong Hyun-gwan) announced on the 3rd that it is holding a policy proposal contest for development plans to overcome the COVID-19 crisis and lead post-COVID Haenam.
The theme of the proposal contest includes Haenam-type New Deal, Ttangkkeut Hope Slogan, and the establishment of Haenam County's comprehensive development plan, allowing a wide range of opinions from small ideas that change daily life to policy proposals in various fields of county administration.
Haenam County is actively promoting the discovery of Haenam-type New Deal projects in line with the three main directions of the Korean New Deal comprehensive plan (Digital New Deal, Green New Deal, and Strengthening Safety Nets), and through this contest, it also accepts policy proposals from residents.
Additionally, to inspire hope among residents exhausted by COVID-19, the county is holding a contest for the "Ttangkkeut Hope Slogan" and is also collecting opinions from various sectors for the establishment of Haenam County's comprehensive development plan created with residents' participation.
Applications can be submitted online via the National Petition System or Haenam County's website, by mail to the Planning Office of Haenam County Office, or by written submission to the nearest eup/myeon office.
Through various contest proposals such as activation plans for Haenam Love Gift Certificates in the first half of the year, 17 proposals were selected and awarded, including suggestions for Ttangkkeut Hope Seed souvenirs, tourist viewpoint management, gift certificate envelope marketing, and support for small business alley community.

Detailed information about the contest proposals can be found on Haenam County's website or at eup/myeon offices. Proposals submitted through the contest will be reviewed, and prizes of up to 3 million KRW will be awarded.
