Kyungbok University to Recruit 98 Transfer Students Until the 7th...
[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kyungbok University is recruiting transfer students for the second semester of the 2020 academic year until the 7th. The number of recruits is a total of 98, including 42 for the 1st year, 49 for the 2nd year, and 7 for the 3rd year.
The departments recruiting are 28 in total, including Nursing, Tax Accounting, Hotel Tourism, Juno Hair Design, Early Childhood Education, Dental Hygiene, Medical Beauty, and Medical Welfare.
Only those majoring in Nursing can apply to the Nursing Department. Other departments accept applications regardless of major.
Eligibility for the 1st year 2nd semester requires graduation (or expected graduation) from a junior college or a 4-year university, and completion of at least the 1st semester of the 1st year. Students who earned credits through the Academic Credit Bank System or part-time registration can also apply if they have acquired at least 18 credits.
For transfer admission to the 2nd year 2nd semester, applicants must have graduated (or be expected to graduate) from a junior college or a 4-year university and completed at least the 1st semester of the 2nd year. Those who earned credits through the Academic Credit Bank System or part-time registration can apply if they have acquired at least 60 credits.
For transfer admission to the 3rd year 2nd semester, applicants must have completed at least the 1st semester of the 3rd year at a junior college or a 4-year university. Those who earned credits through the Academic Credit Bank System or part-time registration can apply if they have acquired at least 100 credits.
Note that applicants from junior colleges can only apply if one year (two semesters) has passed since withdrawal or expulsion.
Applications can only be submitted online through Jinhak Apply (www.jinhakapply.com). Successful candidates will be announced on the Kyungbok University admissions website and via SMS on the 17th.

Kyungbok University achieved the highest employment rate among metropolitan area universities (with over 2,000 graduates) from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, it was selected as an 'Autonomous Improvement University' in the 2018 Ministry of Education's Basic University Competency Diagnosis Evaluation, recognized as a university with excellent educational capabilities.
