Daegu, 'COVID-19' Community Transmission at Zero for 31 Consecutive Days

According to Daegu City on the 3rd, as of midnight, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the region is 6,942. The number of recovered patients and deaths remains the same as the previous day at 6,843 (recovery rate 97.2%) and 187, respectively.
In the Daegu area, no new community infections of COVID-19 have occurred for 31 days since July 4. Despite cases of imported infections, such as the consecutive confirmations of a mother and daughter who entered from Syria on the 1st and 2nd, the local community remains calm.
Currently, 11 confirmed patients are undergoing isolation treatment in the Daegu area. Of these, 10 are hospitalized in five hospitals nationwide, and one is in a residential treatment center. Among them, only one hospitalized patient is a confirmed case of community infection excluding those who entered from overseas.

To have a safe and relaxed vacation, please strictly follow quarantine rules even at vacation spots."
