Uljin-gun's 'Giseong Small Library' Selected for Rural Education and Culture Project for 2 Consecutive Years
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Giseong Small Library in Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk (Governor Jeon Chan-geol) has been selected for the Rural Education, Culture, and Welfare Support Project sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Rural Hope Foundation for the second consecutive year following 2019.
According to Uljin-gun on the 1st, the 2020 Rural Education, Culture, and Welfare Support Project is operated with the sponsorship of the Rural Hope Foundation. This project selects and supports resident communities within township units to improve educational, cultural, and welfare conditions in rural areas and to create an environment and develop capabilities so that local residents can independently promote related programs.
To comply with COVID-19 prevention guidelines, Giseong Small Library will operate the 'Giseong Dream Tree Play Sports' outdoor classes for village children starting in August, and 'Sangmi Teacher's Online English Coaching' as online classes.
