Nationwide Cloudy with Monsoon Rain... Strong Rain with Thunder in Chungcheong and Jeolla Regions

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] On Friday the 31st, the whole country will be mostly cloudy with rain.
The expected rainfall for the day is 50-100mm in the southern Chungcheong, Jeonbuk, and northern Jeonnam regions, with some areas in southern Chungcheong and Jeonbuk experiencing heavy rain exceeding 150mm in the morning.
Northern Chungcheong, southern Jeonnam, Gyeongnam, and inland Gyeongbuk will receive 30-80mm, while southern Gyeonggi and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk will see 5-30mm of rain.
Showers of 10-60mm are forecast in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, inland Chungcheong, and southern inland areas in the afternoon.
The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "There will be very heavy rain accompanied by strong winds, thunder, and lightning mainly in Chungcheong and Jeolla provinces, so special caution is needed to prevent rain-related damage."
The morning low temperature is forecast to be 22-25 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature 27-34 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels will be 'normal' to 'good' across all regions due to good atmospheric dispersion and rainfall.
Sea waves will be 0.5-1.0m off the East Sea coast, 0.5m off the West Sea coast, and 0.5-1.0m off the South Sea coast.
Wave heights in the open sea are expected to be 0.5-1.5m in the East Sea, 0.5-1.0m in the West Sea, and 0.5-1.5m in the South Sea.
