The reasons for the disciplinary action include the Hapcheon Cultural Center receiving a suspension from attending the Gyeongnam Cultural Center Federation, improper increase and embezzlement of the director's business promotion expenses (5.4 million KRW), the director's unilateral selection of member awards ignoring the bylaws, improper closure of the local history research institute, and installation of CCTV in the office without employee consent.
The board of directors of the Hapcheon Cultural Center plans to exclude the director from duties and recover the improperly increased business promotion expenses of 5.4 million KRW, as well as file a complaint.
