Gwangju Dong-gu Academy Operated Online in a Non-Face-to-Face Format
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Dong-gu, Gwangju (Mayor Im Taek) announced that it will operate the first 'Dong-gu Academy' of the year in a non-face-to-face online format.
Since its opening in March 2007, the Dong-gu Academy, which was held on the second Friday of every month, has been completely suspended this year due to the spread of COVID-19.
This lecture, conducted through a talk between Ryu So-yeon, head of the Gwangju Infectious Disease Support Group, and professional MC Park Yo-han, not only explored COVID-19 countermeasures but also provided healing music performances for residents' mental and physical recovery.
The lecture video was pre-recorded to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and is currently available on Dong-gu's YouTube channel.
