[Concall] Samsung Electronics "Mid-range phones sold as much as in Q1"
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] At the 2020 Q2 earnings conference call held by Samsung Electronics on the 30th, Lee Jongmin, Executive Director of the Wireless Business Division, explained the mid-to-low-end smartphone strategy by stating, "Through the Galaxy A and M series, we have established a differentiated lineup ranging from entry-level to high-end, and this year, by expanding 5G adoption to mid-to-low-end products, we have received positive responses from customers and partners. Despite the worsening COVID-19 situation, mid-to-low-end smartphones were able to maintain sales trends at the previous quarter's level."
