Aekyung Industrial Donates Goods to 'Cheer Up Seoul Sharing Campaign'
Donation of Household Goods and Cosmetics Worth 5.2 Billion Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Aekyung Industrial Co., Ltd. (CEO Jaeyoung Lim) held a donation ceremony for the ‘Cheer Up! Seoul Sharing Campaign’ on the morning of the 30th at Seoul City Hall, together with Seoul Metropolitan Government, Seoul Community Chest of Korea, and People Sharing Hope.
Through this donation ceremony, Aekyung Industrial will deliver daily necessities and cosmetics such as laundry detergent and shampoo worth approximately 5.2 billion KRW based on consumer prices. The donated items will be distributed to welfare facilities within Seoul and COVID-19 medical personnel organizations such as the Seoul Medical Center Nurses’ Union.
Since 2012, Aekyung Industrial has been supporting low-income groups in Seoul through the ‘Warm Companionship, Beautiful Sharing’ project in partnership with the Seoul Community Chest of Korea, marking the 9th year of assistance to neighbors in need within Seoul. The total accumulated support amount has exceeded 20 billion KRW based on consumer prices.
The donation ceremony was attended by Seo Jeong-hyeop, Acting Mayor of Seoul, Jaeyoung Lim, CEO of Aekyung Industrial, Youngseok Yoon, Chairman of the Seoul Community Chest of Korea, and Jeongan Kim, Chairman of People Sharing Hope, among other officials.
