[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] KBS has referred those involved in the so-called 'media collusion false report' incident to the personnel committee.
On the 28th, KBS stated, "Through the Deliberation and Evaluation Committee held the previous day, five individuals related to the report were referred to the personnel committee," and added, "The Fair Broadcasting Committee between labor and management is also scheduled to discuss this matter in depth."
However, regarding claims by the KBS Labor Union (1st Union) and KBS Public Labor Union (3rd Union) that a 'third party' was involved in the report, KBS responded, "This matter is entirely due to errors in the reporting process," and said, "It is very regrettable that some internal employees, labor unions, certain media outlets, and opposition parties are politicizing this issue and unfairly attacking us."
