Relieving Concerns About Tap Water Larvae, No Issues Found in Tap Water

On the 28th, according to Goheung County, the county conducted an emergency joint inspection of water supply facilities such as water purification plants together with the Korea Water Resources Corporation to alleviate residents' concerns.
Goheung County operates a total of seven water purification plants. In particular, a detailed inspection including sample collection was completed at the Ho-hyeong Advanced Water Purification Plant in Goheung-eup, which uses activated carbon filters suspected to be the cause of the larvae occurrence in Incheon tap water. The inspection found no larvae at all within the activated carbon filters in use.
