SK Networks Launches Employee Blood Donation Campaign to Overcome COVID-19 Crisis
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] SK Networks employees rolled up their sleeves to alleviate the blood supply shortage caused by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
SK Networks, together with its rental business subsidiary SK Magic, conducted a blood donation campaign on the 27th, with about 100 employees participating, the company announced on the 28th. On the 29th, employees of the subsidiary SK Rent-a-Car are scheduled to participate.
One SK Networks employee who took part in the recent blood donation campaign said, "In these difficult times, I feel proud to be able to convey my heart to patients in need of blood," adding, "I will actively join various neighbor-helping campaigns organized by the company to practice love for our neighbors, even if in a small way."
Earlier, in March, SK Networks supported the Military Medical Support Group working on the front lines of COVID-19 response with consolation goods worth 200 million KRW. In April, on the occasion of its 67th anniversary, the company donated home meal replacement products and ramen sets worth 300 million KRW to vulnerable households and volunteers in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.
