App analysis service WiseApp announced the status of video app usage on Korean Android smartphones on the 28th.
YouTube was used for 864 million hours throughout June. Following it were 'TikTok' with 33 million hours, 'Netflix' with 29 million hours, 'wavve' with 14 million hours, 'AfreecaTV' with 13 million hours, and 'Twitch' with 10 million hours.
Last month, 33.66 million people used the YouTube app at least once, with an average usage time of 1,540 minutes per person. TikTok was used by 4.23 million people at least once, with an average of 474 minutes per person. Netflix was used by 4.51 million people at least once, with an average usage time of 381 minutes per person.

By generation, teenagers mostly used YouTube and TikTok in that order in terms of users and usage time, while those in their 20s and older mostly used YouTube and Netflix in that order.
