"Let's Talk Together About COVID-19 Healing and Growth"… Daegu City, Non-Face-to-Face Citizen Roundtable Meeting
Video Discussion at 7 PM on the 28th... Registration Open Until August 24
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Daegu City announced on the 27th that it will hold the '19th Daegu Citizens' Roundtable Conference' on the 28th at 7 PM via a non-face-to-face video discussion to continue the communication culture in the local community related to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
When the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a 'pandemic,' the highest alert level for infectious diseases, last March, the Daegu region was already at the center of COVID-19, suffering pain and difficulties from a crisis never experienced before.
This roundtable conference is organized under the theme 'COVID-19, Healing and Growth of Daegu - Our Honest Stories,' based on citizens' awareness demonstrating voluntary participation in quarantine and community spirit.
Any Daegu citizen can participate in this citizens' roundtable conference. Even if it is their first time in a video discussion, Daegu City explained that a one-on-one counseling team will guide technical adaptation, so anyone can apply without burden. Those wishing to participate can apply through the Daegu Citizens' Roundtable Conference website by August 24. Confirmation of participation will be notified later via text message.
