[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] On the 26th, Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced that a woman in her 70s, Ms. A, and a man in his 30s, Mr. B, tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Ms. A, who lives in Bojeong-dong, Giheung-gu, was tested at the Giheung-gu Public Health Center after her husband (Yongin case number 120) was confirmed positive the day before, and she was confirmed positive on the same day.
Classified as Yongin case number 121, Ms. A was found to have experienced fever and body aches starting on the 16th, which is two days earlier than her husband who was confirmed first.
Mr. B, who lives in Yeongdeok-dong, Giheung-gu, entered Incheon Airport from the Philippines on the 25th, visited the Giheung-gu Public Health Center for testing, and was confirmed positive at 11:40 a.m. on the 26th, classified as Yongin case number 122.
Mr. B was reported to have had no COVID-19 symptoms at the time of entry.
