National Gwacheon Science Museum's "Mars Exploration with Experts" Broadcast
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] The Gwacheon National Science Museum will hold an online talk show titled "Why? Mars" for 90 minutes starting at 8 PM on the 30th, coinciding with the summer vacation and the concentrated period of Mars probe launches. The broadcast will be available on the Gwacheon National Science Museum's YouTube channel and Facebook.
In this broadcast, experts will explore the reasons behind developing and sending Mars probes. The live broadcast, conducted in a three-way online format, will feature Professor Paul Yoon from El Camino College, who serves as a NASA Solar System Ambassador, and Dr. Shim Chaekyung from the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute. At the scheduled Mars probe launch time by NASA (8:50 PM Korean time), viewers will be able to watch the launch scene accompanied by commentary from a rocket engineer.
