Kim Myung-hwan, Chairman of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU), Kim Kyung-ja, Senior Vice Chairman, and Baek Seok-geun, Secretary General, along with other leadership members, bowed their heads in greeting during a press conference held on the 24th at the KCTU headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. Chairman Kim announced his intention to resign, taking responsibility for the failure to secure internal approval of the labor-management-government agreement within the KCTU.
