Guchung-gon, Hwasun County Governor, Inspects Disaster Recovery Site on Local Road No. 55
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] On the morning of the 24th, Gu Chung-gon, the governor of Hwasun County, Jeonnam, visited the site of National Road No. 55 in Hwasun-eup, which was urgently restored due to soil erosion caused by heavy rain, to inspect the restoration status.
According to the county, on the night of the 23rd, heavy rain caused soil from the slope of National Road No. 55 passing through Hwasun-eup to flow onto the road, temporarily obstructing vehicle traffic.
Upon receiving reports of the damage, the county immediately cooperated with the police station and fire station to carry out emergency restoration.
Additionally, restoration equipment such as excavators and dump trucks, along with six road maintenance workers, were deployed to remove the soil that had flowed onto the road and to repair the road surface.
