New COVID-19 Cases in Turkey Remain in the 900s for 9 Consecutive Days
[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Bo-ryeong] In Turkey, the number of new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has remained in the 900s for the ninth consecutive day.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Health, on the 23rd (local time), the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases increased by 902 from the previous day, reaching 222,402.
Daily confirmed cases ranged from 3,000 to 5,000 in April but gradually decreased to around 700 to 800 in early last month. Then, in mid-last month, the number rose again to the 1,500 range but has since shown a declining trend.
