Two Job-Linked Support Housing Sites Selected in Gwangju and Jeonnam

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Seulgi Sung] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 22nd that through the ‘Job-Linked Support Housing’ local government contest, a total of 13 locations nationwide (1,918 units) were finally selected, including 2 locations (190 units) in Gwangju and Jeonnam.
For startup support housing, Gwangyang Seonghwangdoi (150 units) in Jeonnam was selected, and for regional strategic industry support housing, Gwangju Sajik (40 units) was selected.
Startup support housing provides both residential and workspace to young entrepreneurs and others who face difficulties securing housing and startup spaces, offering these support houses at about 72% of the surrounding market price.
The selected Gwangyang Seonghwangdoi (150 units) is located within the Seonghwangdoi district of Gwangyang City, Jeonnam. It is near the Gwangyang National Industrial Complex and numerous venture companies, and has excellent startup conditions such as startup package support projects for prospective entrepreneurs.
Regional strategic industry support housing is supplied to stabilize the housing of workers in specialized strategic industries by region, and is offered at about 72% of the surrounding market price.
The selected 40 units in Gwangju Sajik are located at 177-35 Sadong, Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City. Connected with video and music industries, it is expected to have high demand as it provides workspaces such as studios along with housing.
